Our Village finances have been reactive for too long. I will use my experience as a Chief Financial Officer to diversify our revenue streams, reducing the burden on residents while ensuring our budget is thriving and transparent.
Protecting Salado Creek & Water Integrity
Salado Creek is the heartbeat of our Village. With millions of gallons of potential wastewater discharge from surrounding areas threatening our ecosystem and our drinking water, I will take a proactive, expert-led approach to environmental advocacy. We will work with the TCEQ and regional partners to ensure that growth in the county doesn't come at the expense of our Creek’s health.
Infrastructure & Economic Development
Smart growth requires smart pipes and roads. I will prioritize infrastructure investments that support our small businesses and encourage high-quality development that adds value to our community without straining our resources.
Public Safety & First Responder Support
As our population increases, so does the demand on our first responders. I will prioritize a budget that ensures our Police Department has the modern technology, equipment, and staffing required to keep our neighborhoods safe. We will move beyond year-to-year survival and build a long-term plan for a dedicated Public Safety facility that fits the needs of a growing Salado.

What happens outside our borders affects our life inside them. I will lead proactive planning for our Extraterritorial Jurisdiction (ETJ) to ensure that the gateways to Salado reflect our standards and our vision

Cultivating a "Tourism Friendly" Economy
Salado was recently designated as a 'Tourism Friendly Texas Certified Community.' This is a massive opportunity, but it requires a Mayor who understands how to market a brand. I will work with the Chamber and local business owners to turn this designation into tangible growth—increasing visitors to our shops, galleries, and historic sites while preserving the quiet charm we all call home.
