About Me
Most people know me as a neighbor, a fellow parent at the track meet, or the guy who’s always ready to talk sports over a cup of coffee. But my professional journey has been defined by a single, guiding principle: Leave it better than you found it.

As a Chief Executive Officer in the healthcare industry, I’ve spent decades navigating the most complex financial landscapes imaginable. When I took the helm at Baylor Scott & White Health Plans, I didn't just inherit a title; I inherited a challenge. Within 60 days, I discovered a multi-million dollar deficit. Many leaders would have looked for an exit, but I looked for a team. We built a 90-day turnaround plan, executed it with precision, and transformed a struggling organization into a thriving, profitable pillar of the community for nine straight years.

Why I’m Running
I’m not running for Mayor because I want a title. I’m running because I see a Village I love at a critical point in its history. Salado is growing, and that growth requires more than just 'management'—it requires a Business Plan.

From teaching my son Jack the perfect golf swing to spending evenings at the high school track helping my daughter Jordyn master the pole vault, I’ve learned that success is about technique, discipline, and showing up every single day. I’m ready to bring that same 'driveway' work ethic and executive-level strategy to Village Hall.

I’m Jeff Ingrum. I’m a strategist, a father, and a neighbor. And I’m ready to ensure Salado’s foundation stays level for generations to come.

2016–Present
Rooted in the Village.
Before coming to Texas, Jeff served as CFO and CEO for Health Alliance Medical Plans. This era solidified his reputation as a "numbers-first" leader who understood that fiscal health is the only way to protect people’s services and jobs.
Jeff moved his family to Salado to lead Baylor Scott & White Health Plans. Confronted with immediate financial losses, he implemented a rigorous turnaround plan that stabilized the organization, leading to nearly a decade of sustained growth and profitability.
Over the last 9 years, Jeff has been an active part of the Salado fabric; from the Chamber of Commerce to coaching youth basketball and football. This period represents his commitment to the "Salado Way of Life," balancing a high-pressure career with the presence required to be a devoted father and neighbor.
